The Russian occupants' announcement of supposedly safe routes in the Black Sea for civilian navigation is a manipulation, the Ukrainian Navy states.
"The Russian Federation cynically announces supposedly safe routes in the Black Sea for civilian navigation. Such a statement is manipulation. The aggressor country cannot be a guarantor of security, because from the first days of the full-scale invasion, in violation of the safety of civilian navigation and international humanitarian law, rf has carried out foreign civilian vessels," the Navy of the Ukrainian Navy said in a statement.
"Continuing to disregard the norms of international maritime law, the Russian ship groups continue to block civilian navigation in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas, making them a war zone," the message reads.
It is reported that there are currently two carriers of Russian Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles in readiness to use missile weapons in the waters of the Black Sea.
Vice Admiral Alexei Neizhpapa, commander of the Navy of the Navy, said that they will not follow the invented rules of the aggressor country, a vile murderer and marauder.
"Ukraine is an independent, democratic and legal state, which adheres to the norms of international law, including international maritime law," Neyezhpapa stressed.
The Navy Navy noted that truly safe routes can only be those agreed upon by international treaties, where civilized countries act as guarantors of security.
"We are not playing by the insidious rules of an enemy who is trying every day to destroy us and our economy by blocking shipping and shelling civilian infrastructure. Whatever "humanitarian" labels they cling to, the world has seen the real face of Russia," stressed the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy.
