President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi. The politicians discussed ways to export Ukrainian food in order to avoid a crisis. The head of state said about this on Twitter.
Zelensky noted that one of the topics of conversation was the issue of improving logistics due to Russia's blocking of Ukrainian ports. The politicians also discussed the situation at the front and military aid.
"Informed about the situation on the front lines. We expect further defense support from our partners. Raised the issue of fuel supply. Discussed ways to prevent a food crisis. We need to unblock Ukrainian ports together," Zelensky said.
