In the Donetsk region, Russian occupants' shelling destroyed 19 residential buildings in a day. Five people were killed and a similar number were wounded. This is reported by the press service of the National Police.
"In the Donetsk region in a day the Russians destroyed 19 residential houses. The enemy shelled 13 settlements. The occupants killed 5 civilians, 5 more were wounded. The police have documented war crimes by the Russians," reads the report.
Under the shelling were such settlements as Soledar, Bakhmut, Seversk, Avdeevka, Liman, Marinka, Romanovka, Bakhmutskoye, Krestische, Donetskoye, Kalinovoye, Sidorovo, New York.
Russian troops hit civilians with aircraft, tanks, heavy artillery, and Grad multiple rocket launchers.
Thirty-four civilian objects - residential buildings, a hospital, a sanatorium, a sports complex, a shopping mall, and critical infrastructure - were destroyed.
Police launched a pre-trial investigation under Article 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
