Zelensky: Ukrainians are too early to return from abroad, the final phase of the war is the bloodiest

President Volodymyr Zelensky notes that the final stage of the war is the most difficult and bloody. He cannot yet call on Ukrainians to return from abroad.

Volodymyr Zelensky said this while talking to Ukrainian students.

"The final stage is the most difficult, the bloodiest, it is. We cannot disassociate ourselves and say, 'That's it, the war is over.' I will tell you frankly that in Kiev after the de-occupation of the Kiev region there is a feeling that everything, there is no war. Until the moment when missiles don't fly," Zelensky said.

The president stressed that people see that the country is coming back to life and promised that "it will be."

"I can't shout 'come home' to everyone abroad today because the war is not over. It's everyone's choice for now," Zelensky stressed.

However, he assured that after the end of the war, Ukraine will pay great attention to the issue of security.

Earlier, the Defense Ministry said that people were returning to other cities not only because of optimism, but also because they were experiencing financial difficulties.
