Russian armed aggression in Ukraine has killed 231 children, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.
"As of the morning of May 19, 2022, more than 658 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression. According to the official data of the juvenile prosecutors, 231 children were killed and more than 427 injured," the report noted.
It is reported that the largest number of injured children is in the Donetsk region - 144, Kyiv region - 116, Kharkiv region - 100, Chernihiv region - 68, Kherson region - 48, Lugansk region - 47, Mykolaiv region - 44, Zaporizhzhia region - 28, Sumy region - 17, in Kiev city - 16 , Zhitomyr region - 15.
These figures will change, as work is underway to establish them in places of active combat operations, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
