President's office expects U.S. Senate to decide next week on $40 billion for Ukraine

The Ukrainian authorities are expecting the approval of the decision to provide $40 billion next week.

Andrei Sibiga, deputy head of the Office of the President, wrote this on Facebook, summarizing President Volodymyr Zelensky's meeting with U.S. Republican senators.

"Today, our state has solid bipartisan and bicameral support from American friends. And the American people. So next week we should expect a decision on the $40 billion in U.S. support. As should further tightening sanctions on the Russian aggressor and increasing defense support. Implementation of the lend-lease program," Sibiga wrote.
