The Russian Foreign Ministry urged its citizens to refrain from traveling to Great Britain because of its "extremely unfriendly course". Such recommendations were made immediately after the introduction of sanctions against Putin's alleged mistress, gymnast Alina Kabaeva, as well as his relatives and ex-wife.
This was reported by RIA Novosti.
"Taking into account the extremely unfriendly course of Great Britain towards our country, in order to avoid financial losses and other possible problems, we recommend Russian citizens to refrain, if possible, from travelling to Great Britain and trying to obtain British visas," the statement said.
Recall that today the UK government to increase pressure on the Russian President Vladimir Putin imposed sanctions against the former Russian gymnast Alina Kabaeva, as well as his relatives and ex-wife for the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine.
