The Ministry of Internal Affairs told about the organization of "victory parades" by the occupants in three regions of Ukraine

On May 9, Russian occupants staged "victory parades" in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions. This was reported at a briefing by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Elena Matveeva.

"The occupiers yesterday organized a series of actions in the cities of Berdyansk, Energodar, Melitopol, Kherson, Nova Kakhovka, and Skadovsk. The so-called "victory parade" in Mariupol with the participation of Denis Pushilin, the leader of the pseudo-republic "DNR," looked especially cynical, blocked by the Russian military, they constantly bombard civilian neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure and prevent humanitarian aid from reaching them. While the entire civilized world was remembering the war victims, Russia was literally dancing on the bones in Mariupol. May 9 for Russia is not victory day, but a day of great shame," said the speaker.

In addition, Matveeva noted that Ukrainians continue not to contact the occupiers en masse. They refuse to cooperate with them, despite the large-scale humanitarian crisis and pressure from the Russian military.
