Ukraine will receive 7 Panzerhaubitzen 2000 from Germany

Germany has agreed to supply Ukraine with seven self-propelled 2000 Panzerhaubitzen howitzers.

This was announced today in Slovakia by Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, reports Die Welt.

The howitzers are to be supplied under current repairs. Geramnia will teach the Ukrainian military how to use these weapons systems.

The Panzerhaubitzen 2000 are heavy artillery systems that can fire up to 40 kilometers. The Bundeswehr describes the Panzerhaubitze 2000 as one of the most advanced artillery systems in the world. Their strength lies in their accuracy and long combat range.

Earlier, the Netherlands had promised Kyiv to supply five such howitzers to Ukraine.
