The night at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol was turbulent - the enemy began using all kinds of weapons, in particular ship artillery, after the evacuation of a group of civilians was over, and by morning it had become quieter. The commander of the 12th brigade of operational purpose of the National Guard Denis Shlega said this on the air of the national telemarathon.
"After the operation to withdraw (group - ed.) civilians from the Azovstal plant ended yesterday, the enemy began to use all kinds of weapons, and we had a turbulent night. From about 2 to 3 a.m. the ship's artillery was working at Azovstal, and now it has become quieter by morning," Shlega said.
According to him, in the morning there is information planning the evacuation of civilians.
In the first two days the Ukrainian side evacuated more than a hundred women, children and the elderly from the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant.
