In the first year after the provocations on the territory of the unrecognized Transnistria, the Transnistrians started to go to other territories of Moldova and Ukraine. Serhiy Bratchuk, head of the Odesa regional military administration, announced this during a national telethon.
"The Transnistrians themselves, from the first years after the provocations began, the so-called shelling of the so-called MGB, they began to leave en masse for the so-called "Moldovan Transnistrian Republic", and do not be surprised if they went quite understandably in the direction of Moldova. To the territory of Moldova to go", - said Bratchuk.
According to him, some of them also go to Ukraine, through Odesa region or to Odesa region.
"The explanation is quite simple, when people ask: 'Are we in a war here? Where are you going?". They say: "You have a very good guarantor of security, which we do not have in the Transnistrian region. And the guarantor of this security is our Armed Forces of Ukraine." Earlier, Acting Commander of the troops of the central military district of Russia Rustam Minnekayev said that during the second phase of the so-called "military operation" on the territory of Ukraine, "an exit to Transnistria, where facts of the extermination of the Russian population are also recorded" will be ensured. After that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova summoned the Russian ambassador to the capital.
The situation in the vicinity of the unrecognized Transnistrian region rapidly escalated. The region reported incidents of explosions, and local authorities declared a "black" level of terrorist threat.
Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesman of the Odesa RMA, said that Russia is increasing provocations in the occupied Transnistrian region.
On the territory of unrecognized Transnistria, the operational units of the Russian troops were put on "Povna" combat readiness.
The Ukrainian State Border Service noted that we cannot exclude Pridnestrovie as a territory that can be used by Russia for further actions against Ukraine.
