On the orders of Secretary General António Guterres, Osnat Lubrani, the UN representative to Ukraine, will arrive in Zaporizhzhia. The UN begins preparations for the evacuation of Ukrainian residents from Mariupol.

This was announced by Osnat Lubrani in the Twitter account.

"Secretary General António Guterres arrived in Ukraine to meet with President Zelensky. At his request, I am going to Zaporozhye to prepare for the evacuation of those hoping from Mariupol. The UN is fully mobilized to help save the lives of Ukrainians and provide assistance to those who need it," Lubrani said.

Earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, reproached the UN for putting off solving the humanitarian problems in Ukraine.
