The main Orthodox holiday, Easter, did not prevent the Russian military from continuing shelling of the Luhansk region. Thus, on April 24, the occupants destroyed seven residential buildings and hit an oil refinery in Lysychansk for the third time.
This is reported by the head of the Luhansk RSA Serhiy Gaidai.
"On an Orthodox holiday, a shell flies into an apartment - from the Orthodox. This is a sign of the "Russian world" - to kill and destroy without thinking, only following orders. On Sunday, the entire region was under heavy Russian shelling," Gaidai said.
According to him, three apartment buildings and four private houses were burnt down. Several cars, including trucks, were involved in accidents or caught fire because of enemy fire.
Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, and Gornoe suffered the most from the Russian army on April 24.
Thus, in Lysychansk, two multi-story buildings and at least two private houses were damaged. In Severodonetsk, an apartment building and outbuildings nearby were damaged. Houses were damaged in Rubizhne and Gorny. The number of casualties is specified.
Also, the occupants shelled the place of Easter service in Vasilievka in Zaporizhzhya and the shelling of Kharkiv region on Easter also did not stop.
