The "DPR" has practically no "people's militia" left - most were killed in battles near Mariupol, an investigation has begun against the top brass, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate.
"In the battles in the Mariupol direction, the occupiers involved the entire personnel of the so-called "People's Militia of the DNR". Including servicemen of the "internal troops of the DNR" and cadets of the "Donetsk Academy of the Interior Ministry". It has been established that during the period of participation in hostilities "MIA DNR" suffered heavy losses: Mariupol direction. up to 1000 persons irrecoverable losses including 26 cadets; more than 2800 persons sanitary losses", - reported in GUR MOU.
According to military intelligence, losses of "MIA DNR" in other directions: about 500 people, irretrievable losses; about 2,100 people, sanitary losses.
"The shortage of "law enforcers" led to the deterioration of the situation with the support of "public law and order" and made further forced mobilization much more difficult. "The Minister of Internal Affairs of the DNR decided to appoint a special official investigation against the head of the 'Donetsk Academy of the Interior Ministry' and the chiefs of the apparatus of the 'Interior Ministry' for the fact of losses among the personnel," noted in the GUR of the Interior Ministry.
