The mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevich said that the enemy shelling has intensified, and three more casualties are already known today. This was stated by the mayor on the air of the national telethon.
"At the moment, in recent days, the shelling has intensified. Literally half an hour ago we were shelled again. They are firing all kinds of shells, most of them cluster shells, which are aimed at killing human life. Fortunately, there are few casualties. People are hiding and using the 'two-wall rule'," noted Senkevich.
He recalled that three people were injured in the city yesterday - one person died.
"Today three more people were injured," added the mayor of Mykolaiv.
"Yesterday, people who went out during curfew were on the street. So, as they say, it is very natural, and I repeat this for those who watch us to understand, curfew is not for walking," he noted.
Senkevich has already noted that the occupants continue to attack Mykolaiv with cluster munitions.
