Two soldiers died in Mykolaiv as a result of careless ammunition transfer

There were explosions in Mykolaiv last night. They were not related to the Russian attack. The State Bureau of Investigation provided details of the incident.


As it turned out, the ammunition detonated in a parking lot during a careless transfer of ammunition by servicemen from one car to another. As a result of the explosions, two soldiers were killed and two were wounded. Cars near the epicenter of the explosion also caught fire.


When firefighters arrived and began extinguishing the fire, another explosion occurred, injuring five rescuers.

 

The SBI opened a criminal investigation into violations of the rules for handling weapons (Part 3 of Article 414 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
