Volodymyr Zelensky announced the development of a plan, which provides for the restoration of the destroyed, the modernization of state structures and the maximum acceleration of Ukraine's development after the war. This is stated in the evening video message of the President.
"Held an important meeting on the post-war reconstruction and development of Ukraine. We need to work out everything in detail now, so that when the war is over, we will be fully prepared.
We are developing a comprehensive plan that provides for the restoration of what has been destroyed, the modernization of state structures and the maximum acceleration of Ukraine's development. It's not just about the amount of physical work - to build housing, restore businesses, start new businesses that will work to restore infrastructure and update economic relations in our state.
But also about rethinking how our country will develop in the future. What industries can be the basis for growth after the war. What solutions and resources are needed to increase the level of processing in Ukraine and not to trade in raw materials, as it was before. Which cities will become the locomotives of economic and technological growth, pulling the surrounding regions after them", says the address.
The President stressed that at this time, if you carefully listen to all the discussions, which are held in our country at different levels about the post-war reconstruction, the main theme of them is actually about money.
Garant believes that the foundation for the country's development is not money, but ideas and people.
"What package of finances is needed to rebuild after the war? But I always stress that money is not the foundation for the development of the country. Ideas, people-that's the foundation. And when you have ideas, when you have our people, then you begin to see what and how much money is needed," added Volodymyr Zelensky.
Recall that the government has allocated the first 200 million UAH to support the employment of internally displaced persons.
