The Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed an attack by the Russian occupants in Rubizhne and Popasna in Luhansk Region. The Russians suffered significant losses. This was reported by the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhiy Gaidai on the air of the national telethon.
"Aggravation has already begun, a difficult situation. But our defenders are holding the line of defense, repelling the offensive in Rubizhne, Popasna. There the losses by dozens of dead from the enemy", - said Gaidai.
According to the head of the RSA, the occupiers intensified shelling and air strikes on the region, but the enemy made no progress.
The Russian occupiers tried twice to go on the offensive near Avdeevka in the Donetsk region, but both attempts were stopped by the Ukrainian armed forces. As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed, several residential buildings were damaged, and a gas pipeline was broken. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional state administration Pavel Kirilenko.
"Near Avdeevka, the Russians twice tried to go on the offensive - both attempts were stopped by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed, several residential buildings were damaged, and a gas pipeline was broken," Kirilenko said.
It is noted that the Russians continue constant shelling in the Mariinskiy, Ochertinskiy and Avdeevskiy directions.
Several villages were left without electricity in the Ocheretinskaya community, it is not possible to restore power supply at the moment.
Continuous shelling continues in the Mariinsk and Toretsk communities. The evacuation of civilians and the delivery of humanitarian aid continues in Toretsk. The responsible services are also working to restore electricity and gas supply.
The situation at the front is complicated, but controlled, Kirilenko pointed out.
