Ukraine cancels extra days off for Easter and May holidays

This year, because of martial law in Ukraine, additional days off were cancelled for Easter and May holidays. Thus, April 25, May 2 and 9 will be working days. This is reported by the State Labor Service.

It is reported that Article 6 of the law "On the organization of labor relations under martial law" sets other rules for the period of martial law. In particular, it suspends Article 73 of the Labor Code, which defines holidays and non-working days.

"Therefore, April 25, May 2 and May 9 are ordinary working days, the work on which is paid as usual," the message says.
