Medvedev called fake the news about the order to destroy Elon Musk's Starlink satellites

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the appearance of a fake website of the United Russia faction, as well as the publication there of news about the alleged task to destroy the Starlink satellite, reports HB.

In his Telegram channel, he noted that the fakes create an alternative universe.

"It's especially gratifying that the portion of fake news about "ER" is paid directly from the State Department," Medvedev pointed out

He also called the idea of "destroying satellites" voiced in the news fresh and thanked him for it.

"It is too early to execute, but if there is such a request, we will consider it," he added.

To add, Medvedev's statement that Vladimir Putin had ordered the Russian Air Force to destroy the Starlink satellite constellation circulated on the Web. However, the news was posted on a fake mirror site of the United Russia faction. The original source of the news was a clone of the United Russia faction website with the domain er-duma.ru - the real site has the domain er-gosduma.ru.
