A flight carrying the first batch of U.S. military cargo for Ukraine, as part of an $800 million aid package, is expected to arrive in the region within 24 hours, CNN reported, citing an unnamed senior Pentagon official.

According to him, the cargo will be delivered to the Ukrainian border, and from there the Ukrainians will bring it directly into the country.

The content of the first batch of aid was not disclosed. At the same time, CNN recalled that earlier there had been information about priority deliveries of howitzers and radars.
