Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev reacted to the detention of Viktor Medvedchuk, an MP of the Opposition Platform - For Life. He not only proceeded to threatening the Ukrainian authorities, but also descended to direct insults.
Medvedev wrote about it in his Telegram.
Medvedev took the liberty of calling representatives of the Ukrainian authorities "freaks," who, in his opinion, allegedly want to beat testimony out of Medvedchuk. Then, the former president adds, to convict him quickly and fairly, and then exchange him for captured Ukrainian citizens.
"These figures should look around carefully and lock their doors tightly at night so that they themselves are not among those to be exchanged," Medvedev goes on to threaten.

"Certain freaks calling themselves the "Ukrainian authorities" report that they want to beat a statement out of Viktor Medvedchuk, then convict him "quickly and fairly," and then exchange him for prisoners. These figures should look around carefully and lock their doors tightly at night, lest they themselves be among those to be exchanged."
We shall remind you that Medvedchuk's detention by the SBU became known late on the evening of 12 April. The Ukrainian presidential office noted that the MP had not been detained in Kiev.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that Medvedchuk be exchanged for Ukrainians who are held captive in Russia.
We shall remind you that Medvedchuk is suspected of state treason and aiding terrorist organizations "LDPR". While under house arrest, he escaped and hid in Ukraine for 48 days.
