The United States will provide Ukraine with even more weapons to counter Russian troops. They will also continue to put pressure on the Russian economy. This was reported by Jake Sullivan, national security advisor to the President of the United States, in an interview for ABC.
He said the U.S. will work with the international community to hold Russia accountable for its war crimes in Ukraine.
"In the meantime, we're not going to just wait for that. We're going to give Ukraine the weapons it needs to fight back against the Russians, keep them from taking over more of the cities and towns where they commit these crimes, and squeeze the Russian economy and increase the pressure and price for Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin and the Russian government. That's what we're going to do," Sullivan added.
