Today in Mariupol, a senior officer of the Ukrainian border troops blew himself up at a radio station so that it would not go to the Russian occupiers. This was reported during a briefing by Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
"According to preliminary data, today in Mariupol, one of the senior officers of the border troops, being surrounded by enemies and wounded, blew himself up along with the radio station, so that it would not go to the enemy. The last words in the radio station were "Glory to Ukraine!" A low bow, honor and respect to our border guards!" - said Arestovich.
According to Arestovich, not a single Ukrainian border guard left the battlefield at the start of the Russian invasion. Some of them died, and some were taken prisoner by Russian forces.
The enemy reduced its activity, taking positions in Mariupol and in the north of the JFO zone. Also told Oleksiy Arestovich.
The Russian occupants were also defeated in their attempts to go on the offensive against the AFU forces in some directions. As of April 10, the enemy had already lost 19,300 personnel.
Special attention was paid by the advisor to the OP leader to the aviation. During the day, the enemy lost 3 aircraft, a helicopter, 5 UAVs, shot down 4 cruise missiles.
"In general, when I look at how the Russian Federation uses its COPs, it seems to me that in the military or political leadership there sits five thousand spies. Because only spies can destroy the main strike force of their Armed Forces like that. The Russians are rapidly losing their air force, one of the main factors on the battlefield, and they keep losing it. Honor and praise to them, we will reward them at the end of this campaign," Arestovich said.
