In the east and south of Ukraine there is an accumulation of a large number of troops and equipment of the Russian occupants, who are going to occupy another part of the Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a briefing.
"Ukraine has always said that it is ready for negotiations and will look for any ways to end the war. In parallel, we see preparations for an important, some say decisive battle in the east of our state. I don't know, it's hard for me to say, I don't want to take responsibility for predictions... In parallel in the east and not only in the east, and in the south, there is an accumulation of troops, a large number of troops, equipment, armed people who are going to occupy another part of our territories", - said Zelensky.
According to him, it will be a difficult battle.
"We believe in our fight and victory. So we are ready to fight and in parallel wait for some or other ways of diplomacy that can stop this war, for now. Again, I will tell you frankly and we have talked to the chancellor about this. For now. For now, we are also talking about a parallel dialogue," Zelensky said.
The occupiers continue to prepare for an offensive in the east of our state in order to establish full control over the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
