In Melitopol, which is temporarily under the control of the Russian occupants, the invaders continue to hold the buses that they stole and sent to the city to evacuate its residents.
This was reported at a briefing by the Deputy Prime Minister, the head of the Ministry of reintegration of temporarily occupied territories Iryna Vereshchuk.
"In Melitopol for a day occupation troops are holding seized 8 buses for evacuation," - said the official.
Vereshchuk added that the Ukrainian side is negotiating so that these buses were returned, and according to the agreements it was possible to carry out the evacuation of Melitopol residents.
Deputy Prime Minister also informed that during April 8 were evacuated in Zaporozhye 3 544 residents of the region (cities Rhoda, Vasilievka, Berdyansk, Tokmak, Melitopol Energodar, Orekhov, Gulyaypole).
The day before, the city's mayor, Ivan Federov, reported that the Rashists had stolen all the humanitarian cargo that had been sent to Melitopol in buses and vans, and they had also taken the vehicles themselves.
