The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has described the operational situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 45th day of the war. According to the military, the occupiers are preparing an offensive operation in the east of Ukraine.

"The occupiers continue to prepare for an offensive in the east of our state in order to establish full control over the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the message reads.
In the Volyn direction there were no changes in the position and actions of the enemy.
In the Polessk direction the enemy did not conduct active operations. Individual units, which were withdrawn from the territory of Ukraine, continue to be on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
According to available information, in order to regroup troops, the enemy is moving units from the 35th combined arms army of the Eastern Military District and the 76th airborne assault division of the airborne troops of the armed forces of the Russian Federation to the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
On the Seversk direction, the enemy is completing the regrouping of forces and restoration of combat readiness of units of the Central Military District in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as moving some units from the 41st All-Arms Army and the 90th Tank Division to the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues intensive shelling and partial blockade of the city of Kharkiv. It intensifies its electronic reconnaissance. On the territory of Belgorod region, the occupants deployed field camps for units that were relocated from other operational areas.
In the direction of Izyum, the enemy attacked in the direction of Brazhkovka and Suligovka. At the same time, the enemy had no success.
In the Donetsk direction, the occupants continue their assault actions. The main efforts are focused on taking control of the settlements of Rubizhne, Nizhnee, Popasna and Novobakhmutovka and establishing full control over the city of Mariupol.
The enemy intensified reconnaissance in the South Bug direction. Conducted artillery shelling of the settlements of Maryanske, Novovorontsovka, Novohrigoryevka and Shevchenkovo. The occupants continue to launch missile strikes against settlements in Odesa Oblast from the territory of the Crimean peninsula.
On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions the AFU in the past 24 hours repelled seven attacks of the enemy, destroyed nine tanks, seven units of armored and five units of automotive equipment of the enemy.
A group of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit four aerial targets in the previous day: two helicopters, one unmanned aerial vehicle and one cruise missile. The information is being updated.
