Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he was ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin one-on-one and named the priority issues: ending the war, the occupied Crimea and Donbas. He said this in an interview with India's Republic Media Network.

When asked if he was ready to meet with Putin one-on-one and have a direct one-on-one conversation with him, Zelensky said, "Yes, I am ready to meet with President Putin. It depends on him to attack Ukraine and it depends on him to stop the war."

Zelensky noted that for him the priority issues are the end of the war, the occupied Crimea and Donbas.

"Once again, I confirm that the question is not about time, but the question is the sooner we meet, the fewer casualties on both sides. I understand that Russia has a slightly different attitude, because you know that the Russian military was abandoned, and the wounded were abandoned on the roads," Zelensky said.
