The State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine (SSES) through cooperation with mobile operators launches a new prioritized system of notification of citizens.The new notification system will work using Cell Broadcast technology, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection (Gosspetsvyaz) said in a message to its Telegram channel on Thursday.
"Messages are displayed immediately on the phone screen, on top of all apps or a locked screen, with a simultaneous loud warning beep. This is done to promptly inform the population about the threat of emergencies or other dangerous situations and the sequence of actions in these situations", - is emphasized in the message.
Kyivstar subscribers will soon start receiving test messages from DSNS (State Emergency Service).
