The situation in Mykolaiv is calm, but the threat of Russian occupants using multiple rocket launchers remains - Governor Kim

The chairman of the Mykolaiv regional state administration, Vitaly Kim, told a telethon that the situation in Mykolaiv is calm, there was no enemy shelling of the city yesterday, but the threat of Russian occupants using multiple rocket launchers remains.

Kim said it was calmer in Mykolaiv on Wednesday than the day before.

"There is fighting along the front line, very heavy, there is a heavy advance. As for the situation in the city, for today it was calm," he said.

The chairman of the RSA noted that the Russian troops are at a distance from Mykolaiv, which allows to reach the city with MLRS.

"There are 40-50 kilometers. They can bombard our region and the city with these "Grads" systems too. No one can feel more or less calm, because they use Kalibr systems, which operate all over Ukraine. Therefore, nowhere in the region is calm," he stressed.

Kim also commented on the fakes that the enemy spreads in the network, in particular about the alleged entourage of Mykolaiv.

"There could be a lot of targets. Maybe they are checking how these fakes work, the state of affairs and tension in the city, maybe they want to cover still their actions. Check the reaction of people to any planting of information," he said.

In turn, the mayor of the city, Alexander Senkevich, said during a live broadcast on Facebook that the occupant shelled the railway station in Mykolaiv, as a result of which it is not working.

When exactly the enemy struck is not specified.

As explained by the mayor, now the railway station of the city does not work, because it was significantly damaged during the shelling of the troops of the Russian Federation.

For example, when asked why the train station in Mykolaiv didn't work, Senkevich replied, "it doesn't work because it was bombed.

However, when exactly the Russian troops attacked this facility, the mayor of the city did not say. In turn, he recalled that it was possible to evacuate from Mykolaiv by buses for free.
