Russian Federation Conducts Covert Mobilization to Staff Units Suffering Losses in Ukraine - AFU General Staff

The Russian leadership is conducting a covert mobilization to man the units of the Russian army that suffered losses during combat operations in Ukraine, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation reported.

"In the Western Military District of the Russian Federation, in order to staff the units that suffered losses on the territory of Ukraine, measures of hidden mobilization are carried out. In addition, the command of the armed forces of the Russian Federation is trying to make up for the loss of personnel by recruiting representatives of military educational institutions," the report, released on Tuesday, reads.

It specifies that the Chita Suvorov Military School of the Russian Interior Ministry conducted a written survey of the teaching staff about their willingness to take part in a "special operation" outside the Russian Federation.

"A significant part of the teachers refused to be possibly involved in 'performing tasks' and are ready to be discharged from military service," the General Staff stresses.

They note that Russia has not abandoned the operation to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, at the moment the Russian army is trying to improve the position of its units in the Tavrichesky and Yuzhnobuzhsky operational areas.

In addition, Russian forces, in brazen defiance of International Humanitarian Law, continue to use aviation and artillery to attack civilian infrastructure and industry. Thus, as a result of the shelling of the town of Rubizhne, Luhansk Region, the occupants damaged a cistern with nitric acid.

On the Seversk direction there is a removal by rail and military transport planes of military equipment of the armed forces of the Russian Federation from the territory of Belarus.

"At the same time, the movement of certain units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus in the direction of the state border of Ukraine has been detected. It is not ruled out the rotation of units involved in strengthening the protection of the state border of Belarus," specify the General Staff.

It is specified that the enemy is blockading a separate district of the Kharkiv region in the direction of Slobozhansky. In the settlements of Velyky Burluk, Prikolotnoe and Fedorovka, the occupants search for pro-Ukrainian residents and illegally detain them.

In the town of Izyum, Russian occupants are engaged in fabrication of evidence of alleged crimes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To this end, they bombard the settlement and create the appearance of "documentation".

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy with the support of aircraft and artillery continues to storm the city of Mariupol. In the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region, in the city of Berdyansk, local residents are being detained.

In the city of Tokmak, medical personnel of local health institutions are forced to sign so-called "contracts" with the Russian Federation's Ministry of Health.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to carry out tasks to liberate captured territory from Russian occupation troops," the AFU General Staff summarized.
