Rashists involved in the atrocities in Bucha will be returned to Ukraine - Intelligence

Military of the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 35th All-Russian Army, which had been killing and torturing civilians in Bucha, will be returned to Ukraine. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.

According to the intelligence, the Russian command will not rotate personnel in this unit and again throws it to the front lines.

As of April 4, the brigade had been withdrawn from Ukraine to Belarus and was near the town of Mozyr. By April 6, the personnel would be transported by rail to Belgorod, Russia. After only a two-day rest, they are planned to return to Ukraine to one of the "hottest" points (tentatively, the Kharkiv direction). Normally, Russian units leaving the combat zone are given much more time to recover and rest.

Such a schedule means that the 64th Brigade has "special assignments" waiting for it. The first of these: intimidating residents of populated areas of Ukraine. Those who committed crimes of genocide in Bucha may do so again in other cities.

Another goal of the 64th Brigade's quick return to Ukraine is the quick "disposal" of unnecessary witnesses. That is, redeployment to a section of the front, where they would have no chance of staying alive, to make it impossible to provide testimony in future trials.

The personnel of the unit, aware of the resonance of the events in Bucha and the responsibility for the crimes committed, resisted returning to Ukraine en masse. However, the Russian command ignores this sentiment and threatens with a tribunal if they refuse to continue participating in combat operations. Reports for dismissal are not accepted for consideration.

Ukrainian and international investigators are now documenting numerous war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Russian army. And no criminal occupier will escape proper punishment, the CID noted.

On April 2, Mykhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, reported in his Twitter account about people shot with their hands tied in the streets of Bucha.

Also, dead bodies of civilians were found near a highway 20 km from Kyiv. There were up to five dead naked women lying under a blanket, which the Russian barbarians tried to burn on the side of the road.
