In the village of Yagodnoye in Chernihiv region, Russian occupants held more than 150 locals in the basement of a school at one time. Some people were dying in this room, but the invaders did not take the bodies out.

This is reported by the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration Vyacheslav Chausa.

"Yagodnoe. The basement of the school. In this room (it is really small, the photo does not really convey), the enemy held more than 150 people at a time. He let them out into the street. Sometimes, not often. I don't know what words to use to describe it. I don't know how it can be mentioned without savage pain. Here the sick were sick and dying. Here the living were next to the dead. Hunger. Thirst. Fear. Pain. Despair. Toilet per bucket. It's stuffy," the official wrote.

It is also noted that in this village, liberated by the AFU on April 3, Russian soldiers were kept in the school basement along with the rest of the hostages and children.

"There were women and children there. I bow before their courage and endurance. This is terrible. The enemy will surely answer for this too. He will answer in full," the publication says.

Earlier it was reported that on April 3 in the Chernihiv region of the AFU liberated Kolychevka, Yagodnoye and Ivanovka.
