Russian invaders are trying to reach the administrative borders of Luhansk, Donetsk and Kherson regions.
This is stated in the operational information of the General Staff of the AFU as of 12:00, published on Facebook.
"Russian invaders continue to conduct full-scale armed aggression against our state. According to available information, the enemy intends to surround the grouping of the United Forces and reach the administrative borders of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In order to restrain the actions of our troops will continue to hold some boundaries in the temporarily occupied territories of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, presumably in areas in the vicinity of the state border of Ukraine (with the RB and Russia respectively)," the message says.
It is noted that there are no signs of the formation of offensive groups by the enemy in the Volyn direction. Units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to strengthen operational and combat training. The enemy is building up the anti-aircraft defense system in the areas bordering our country.
In the Polesie direction the enemy continues to move some units into the territory of the Republic of Belarus. In order to slow down the advance of our units, the occupiers are mining abandoned positions, routes of advance, elements of transport infrastructure and equipment not subject to evacuation.
In addition, in the Seversk direction the enemy continues to hold some units from the 41st Army to blockade the city of Chernihiv. According to available information, the main part of the occupant grouping has already been concentrated to retreat to the territory of the Russian Federation.
Some units of the 2nd Combined Arms Army have been withdrawn from the Brovarsk direction to the territory of the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation. The remaining units are ready to move towards the Russian border.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues to blockade the city of Kharkiv. Attempts to continue the offensive in the Izyum direction.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy concentrates its main efforts to take control of Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, Popasna, Troitskoye, Avdeevka, Marinka, and Krasnogorovka settlements. It is trying to establish full control over the city of Mariupol.
Also in the South Bug direction the enemy conducts assault actions in order to reach the administrative boundaries of the Kherson region.
The press service reported that in the groups of occupation forces to carry out combat tasks on the territory of our State involved up to 75 BTGr, up to 34 BTGr to restore combat readiness, fully destroyed - 16 BTGr (information is updated).
