At the next meetings the Verkhovna Rada will discuss the arrangement and provision of housing for internally displaced persons.

People's deputies of Ukraine continue to work on the legislative acts that ensure the functioning of the country during martial law. This was noted by First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexander Kornienko on the air of the telemarathon "United News", answering questions about the results of the meeting of Parliament on April 1.

"Today (April 1) we polished the issues on the two percent taxation system, on customs matters, on the importation of materials for the manufacture of body armor and armored vehicles," Kornienko said.

He informed that during the session of the Parliament the issues of state assistance, reduction to zero taxation on alternative motor fuel, which will allow making bioethanols, were discussed.

"We have a lot of agricultural raw materials that could be used for this, but they lie in warehouses because of problems with logistics," said the First Vice Speaker.

Regarding the topic of security and defense, Alexander Kornienko noted laws concerning the improvement of the principles of the organization and conduct of the resistance movement, the acceleration of the sale of military bonds.

"This is important for the financing of our Armed Forces," he stressed.

The first vice-speaker explained that the adopted legislation will streamline the situation with the TRO Forces of the AFU, in particular, provides for entry into the terror defense at the place of registration or in areas where direct hostilities.He informed that today in the first reading the people's deputies supported the bills on banning political parties that justify or deny the armed aggression and the banning of neo-Nazi symbolism. And also on the increased taxation for companies that continue to cooperate with the aggressor (by 50%). These documents will be finalized in the relevant committees for the adoption as a whole.

As for the plans for the next sessions of the Verkhovna Rada, the First Deputy Speaker has promised that the Parliament will continue to work on the bills in accordance with the requests from the Government and individual ministries.

Initiatives, according to him, relate to specific issues of social and humanitarian policy, in particular, to the settlement and housing for internally displaced persons.
