The grouping of occupation troops is regrouping and probably concentrates its main efforts to conduct an offensive operation in the eastern operational zone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported on its Facebook page.
The military also notes that there is a partial withdrawal of occupation troops from the Polessk and Seversk directions. At the same time, the enemy is preparing to move additional units (reserves) of the Eastern Military District to conduct combat operations on the territory of Ukraine.
"In the Polessk direction the enemy has not carried out offensive actions. The main efforts of the occupants are aimed at defending the previously occupied lines, regrouping and withdrawal of troops to the territory of the Republic of Belarus to restore combat readiness. To ensure the withdrawal of its units, the enemy mines the terrain and infrastructure and uses artillery.
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regained control over the settlements of Demidov, Dymer, Litvinovka, Havrylovka, Kozarovichi, Zhovtneve, Glubovka, Yasnogorodka, Talakun, Sukholuchye, Lipovka, Havrovschina, Makovishte, Mykolaivka and Khmelna.
In the Seversk direction, the enemy continues to blockade the city of Chernihiv.
After the withdrawal of the enemy units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took under control the settlements Rudnya, Shevchenkovo, Bobrik, Staraya Basan, Novaya Basan, Makeyevka, Pogreby, Bazhanovka, Vladimirovka, Shnyakovka, Salne, Sofievka and Gavrilovka.
On the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues to blockade Kharkiv and to shell the city with artillery, on the captured lines passes to the defense, carries out regrouping of troops to resume offensive actions.
Additional supply of ammunition for artillery units is recorded.
In the direction of Izyum, the enemy continues to control Izyum and hold the pontoon crossings over the Seversky Donets River to support the offensive operations. During the day, the enemy conducted combat operations in the direction of Malaya Komyshevaha settlement, stopped, with no success.
It is likely that the enemy will strengthen the grouping of occupation troops in the direction of Izyum by separate units of the 1st Tank Army and 20th Combined Arms.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy continues fire and assault actions in certain directions. It continues air strikes on populated areas.
The main efforts are focused on taking control of the populated areas of Popasna and Rubizhne, as well as establishing full control over the city of Mariupol.
In the South Bug direction, units of the occupation troops continue to exert fire influence using artillery on the positions of our troops. In order to improve the tactical situation, the enemy attempted to conduct offensive actions in the direction of the village of Aleksandrovka," noted representatives of the AFU General Staff.
