President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his video address said that now more than 25 thousand applications for compensation for destroyed real estate have been submitted to "Diya".
"Both I and officials have already said that the state service "Diya" has started accepting applications for compensation for the destroyed real estate of our citizens. The state will return to our people everything that was destroyed by the occupiers - houses, apartments and the like," he said.
In a few days, 25,491 applications have already been submitted.
"The number of tenants in these houses and these apartments that were destroyed, according to our calculations, is 63,471 people. And we know there are more to rebuild. Significantly more. So tell everyone who needs it about this state program. It's an important program. Soon the opportunity to apply will also work offline, in CNAPs, in the usual mode for many Ukrainians," said the President.
On March 30, the Ministry of Science and Education reported that the application "Diya" allowed to apply for damaged housing during the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine in order to restore it.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's losses due to the war, according to government estimates, exceeded 560 billion dollars.
