The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, MP David Arahamiya, said that the negotiations between the two delegations will resume on 1 April.
In a week's time, a package of documents should be ready, which will be discussed by the presidents during a personal meeting.
Arahamia said this on the air of a 24-hour TV marathon.
"As for the face-to-face meeting, we are waiting for the Russian side to respond back. They will think for two or three days what to answer to our proposal. We announced to them that a meeting between the leaders of the two countries was imminent. I think we will have worked out what we can in a week, we will have no more mandates. And then we will wait for the meeting of the presidents", - Arahamia said.
He also stressed that the Ukrainian side is against a meeting of the Presidents in Russia or Belarus. According to the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Turkey might be the optimal place.
