Stars raised 16 million dollars for Ukraine at a benefit concert in Britain, writes BBC.

12.2 million pounds ($16 million) for Ukraine, as indicated, was raised through a televised concert in Britain with pop stars Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Neil Rogers and Emeli Sande.

Snow Patrol, Becky Hill, Gregory Porter, Paloma Faith, Tom Odell and The Manic Street Preachers also performed in the two-hour show in Birmingham.

In addition, Ukrainian singer Jamala performed at the concert with her song "1944."

"Thank you so much for coming. This is such an important cause and I'm honored to be here," said Ed Sheeran, addressing an audience of 8,000 and ITV viewers.

The funds were raised by the Disasters Emergency Committee, a charitable organization.
