The Armed Forces of Ukraine have eliminated Colonel Denys Kuryl, commander of the 200th separate motorized rifle brigade, in battles near Kharkiv. This is reported by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the battles near Kharkiv, the AF liquidated the commander of the 200th separate motorized rifle brigade (military unit 08275, Pechenga) Colonel Denis Kurylo," the report says.
As noted, the 200 Brigade suffered the greatest losses during the war in Ukraine.
Two battalion tactical groups of the 200 Omsk brigade were reportedly destroyed in Ukraine. The brigade's total personnel losses exceeded 1,500 servicemen.
Also during the day, the Russian occupants shelled areas of Kharkiv and the region 46 times. Also recorded about 280 enemy fire from Grad MLRS. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional administration Oleg Sinegubov.
According to the governor, during the last day the following districts of the city and the region were subjected to shelling by the invaders: Saltovka, "Novye Doma", Zhukovsky settlement, Pyatikhatki, Alekseevka, "Horizon", Kulinichi, Chuguev and Dergachi.
The city of Lyubotin was subjected to rocket fire. The occupants fired two cruise missiles at the city. As a result, seven houses were damaged, which then started a fire.
One person was killed under the rubble. Two were rescued. Another seven people suffered various injuries.
Sinegubov also notes that the AFU are holding their positions. As of March 29, our military are conducting operations to dislodge the enemy from Rogansk, Chuguev, and Dergachev directions.
Izyum remains a critical point, where fierce fighting is taking place.
Over the past 24 hours in the Kharkiv region the AFU seized a large amount of Russian equipment, including electronic warfare equipment.
Now all this will serve our Armed Forces. The Ukrainian military also eliminated another Russian aircraft and drone.
