The military intelligence service of the British Ministry of Defense informs that Russian occupation troops continue their offensive on Mariupol, constantly shelling it. However, the center of the city remains under Ukrainian control.

"Ukrainian forces continue to conduct localized counterattacks northwest of Kiev, including on Irpen, Bucha and Gostomel. These attacks have had some success, and Russian troops have been pushed back from a number of positions. Russian forces continue their assault on Mariupol with continuous intensive shelling of the city, but the city center remains under Ukrainian control," the report said.
At the same time, according to intelligence, in other places Russian forces are holding blocking positions, trying to reorganize and reload their forces.
Recall, according to the General Staff, the grouping of defense forces continues to conduct a defensive operation in the eastern, south-eastern and north-eastern directions. Thus, at the same time, Ukrainian fighters continue to hold the circular defense of Mariupol and the defense and containment of the enemy's advance near Chernihiv.
