The Russian occupant ships entered closed areas, probably in order to carry out missile strikes on facilities on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU.
"The ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet perform tasks in certain areas of the Black Sea and Azov operational zones. Individual ships went into a closed area, probably with the purpose of carrying out missile strikes on objects on the territory of Ukraine," the message reads.
Also, according to the staff of the General Staff of the AFU, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on holding the occupied lines and preparing to resume offensive actions.
Regrouping to increase offensive capabilities to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions has been recorded. At the same time, the enemy continues to launch missile and bomb attacks on military and civilian infrastructure.
Also, additional units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation continue to prepare and relocate for combat operations on the territory of Ukraine.
According to available information, it is planned to send military equipment and 150 servicemen from the 155th separate marine brigade of the Pacific Fleet (permanent deployment point Vladivostok). A subdivision of the 14th Independent Special Forces Brigade of the Eastern Military District (permanent deployment point in Khabarovsk) has been formed.
Situation at the frontline
Up to four BTGr from the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus have been detected on the Volyn direction, and are involved in reinforcing and protecting the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. It is impossible to completely exclude the involvement of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine.On the Polessk direction, the enemy did not carry out active offensive operations. The enemy is regrouping troops and withdrawing some units to the territory of the Republic of Belarus to restore combat effectiveness.
In the Gomel Region of the Republic of Belarus, the movement of Iskander-M missile launchers in the direction of the state border with Ukraine is recorded.
In the Seversk direction, the enemy, with the help of certain units from the Central Military District, did not conduct offensive operations. It concentrated its efforts on consolidating and holding the previously occupied frontiers. Regrouping, it began to concentrate its equipment in settlements and woodlands to prevent them from being hit by gunfire.
The enemy continues to blockade the city of Chernihiv, and inflicts fire on civilian infrastructure. Performs defense of previously seized lines and conducts engineering equipment of positions. The enemy has reportedly withdrawn from the village of Snovsk, destroying a bridge over the Snov River.
In addition, the Russian occupants destroyed bridges in the areas of Konotop, Staraya Rudnya, Smyach, Maly Dyrchin and Velyky Dyrchin.
In the direction to Brovary, the occupants tried to act by separate units of the 90th Tank Division and the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District. Active defensive actions by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped the enemy. But it continued to bombard the positions of our troops near the Lukyanovka village.
In the Slobozhansky direction the enemy is acting by separate units from the Western Military District.
It did not conduct active combat operations near Sumy, continued regrouping its troops and withdrawing them to the Russian Federation territory to restore combat readiness after the losses it sustained. According to available information, the moral and psychological state of troops was extremely low. For example, servicemen of the 15th Motorized Rifle Regiment refuse to take part in the war.
In the direction of Kharkiv the enemy did not conduct offensive operations, continues to blockade the city and fire attacks on civilian infrastructure. Conducts logistical support activities for troops.
In the area of Izyum, the enemy operates with individual units from the 20th All-Army and 1st Tank Armies and the Baltic Fleet. It is regrouping and replenishing ammunition in order to further resume its offensive against Slavyansk.
In the Donetsk direction, the occupants are focusing their main efforts on taking control of Popasna, Rubizhne, exits to the areas of Ugledar and Solodkoye, as well as capturing the city of Mariupol.
The enemy carried out artillery and mortar shelling of Toretskoye, Svetlodarsk, Troitskoye and Peski.
In the direction of Terny, as a result of a clash with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy suffered losses and retreated to the area of Makiivka.
In Rubizhne, with the support of artillery, trying to gain a foothold in the northwestern part of the city. It suffered losses and was unsuccessful.
In the vicinity of the settlement of New York, Donetsk region, the enemy twice attempted an assault action. No success, retreated and continues artillery shelling of Ukrainian defenders' positions.
In the area of Marinka the enemy conducted assault actions. It had no success, suffered losses. In Mariupol - continued to move towards the center of the city and fire at the positions of our troops.
In Stepnogorsk and Gulyaypole districts, the Russian occupants conducted artillery fire on the positions of defense force units.
On the Tauris direction, Rosgvardi units in temporarily occupied territories in the Kherson region continue to conduct filtration activities to identify servicemen of Ukrainian security forces, participants of the antiterrorist operation, and public activists, as well as seize weapons and ammunition.
In the Yuzhno-Bugsk direction, the enemy is taking measures to restore combat readiness and replenish ammunition. Continues to carry out engineering works. Conducted assault actions in the direction of the Blagodatnoye settlement, with no success.
It should be noted that the total combat losses of the Russian Army due to the invasion of Ukraine in personnel are estimated at approximately 17,000.
