Turkey and other countries still need to negotiate with Russia to help end the war in Ukraine, a Turkish presidential spokesman said Sunday, adding that Kiev needs more support to defend itself. Reuters reports that.
"If everyone burns bridges with Russia, who will talk to them in the end," Ibrahim Kalin said at an international forum in Doha.
"Ukrainians should be supported by every means possible so that they can defend themselves. But russia's cause must be heard one way or another so that its discontent can be understood, if not justified," Kalin added.
