Operational information as of 18.00 26.03.2022 on the Russian invasion.
The thirty-first 24 hours of heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion are underway. Russian occupants continue to wage war against Ukraine.
Concealing the real losses of personnel and equipment, the military leadership of the occupation troops is trying to convince their own population of the planned achievement of all goals set by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Due to the need to replenish losses, the occupiers carry out measures of concealed mobilization and removal of equipment from long-term storage. For example, T-72 tanks have been taken out of long-term storage to replenish the capacities of units of the 4th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army. According to available information, the equipment is in extremely poor technical condition and is incomplete.
The Russian invaders continue to make active use of the Republic's transport network in Belarus. There has been an increase in the number of air transports of military cargoes from Russian territory. The enemy mainly uses An-124 transport aircraft for tipping missiles of various types and ammunition. This method of delivery is due to the blocking of railroad tracks in certain directions.
The population of the Republic of Belarus does not support the involvement of its own armed forces in the war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. At the same time, the provision of military support for Russian aggression and the issue of sending Belarusian units to Ukraine is lobbied for by a group of high-ranking officials and generals from the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus.
In localities of Kherson Oblast, the occupiers are recording increased terror of the local population. Houses are searched in order to identify ATO/OSS participants, servicemen, volunteers and members of their families. There are numerous facts of abduction of women and torture of local residents.
In certain settlements of Chernihiv Region, the occupants are forcibly distributing so-called "humanitarian aid" to the local population for the purpose of creating propaganda reports by the Russian media.
In the temporarily occupied territories, the enemy continues to build up a system of roadblocks in order to prevent the movement of the local population.
Enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups located in the territory of the Kyiv region do not abandon attempts to penetrate into the capital. Saboteurs disguise themselves in civilian clothing and use vehicles stolen from civilians. The enemy continues to suffer casualties in all directions. The defense forces are methodically destroying the Russian invaders.
