Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met in Warsaw to discuss arms assistance to Ukraine.

"In terms of weapons - there was also a very substantive conversation. With specific figures, names we came, and there will be progress here too, there will be developments," Kuleba said live on Facebook on Saturday.

He stressed that they talked specific things, specific next steps for the development of interaction between Ukraine and the United States.

"First, they talked about sanctions. The United States recently adopted new sanctions, but we are already working on new sanctions," the minister pointed out.

Kuleba informed that he raised the issue of closing U.S. and European ports for Russian ships and cargo.

"We talked about applying individual sanctions not only against Russian oligarchs, against Putin's inner circle, but also against all political figures in Russia, because they are all parts of his aggressive machine. And we discussed how we could cheer up some of the European countries that are now trying under various pretexts not to accept new harsh sanctions," he said.

In addition, he said, they very clearly agreed on how and with which countries they would work so that they would not become a space for circumventing Russian sanctions.

"Russia is caught in a sanctions environment, in a sanctions pot, and this pot in the coming days, weeks, months, will only shrink at the expense of big loud decisions that everyone is hearing, but also at the expense of small, but very painstaking and clear decisions to tighten further screws," Kuleba stressed.
