U.S. President Joe Biden is confident that what is happening in Ukraine will change the 21st century, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said after a meeting with him in Warsaw.

"President Biden said two things. The first is that what is happening in Ukraine will change the XXI century. He has an absolutely clear understanding of this. What we've always said since 2014 is that it's not Russia's war against Ukraine, it's a war of tyranny against the free world. That's what President Biden said today: what's happening in Ukraine will change the history of the 21st century, and we will work together to make sure that this change is for our benefit - for the benefit of Ukriana, for the benefit of the democratic world," Kuleba said in a live Facebook post on Saturday.

Kuleba said Biden joined his talks with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov's talks with U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. According to him, he and Biden had a long wide-ranging conversation.

"He joined us for two reasons to build on his dialogue with President Zelensky, and also because he wanted to express his respect and admiration for all Ukrainians who are resisting the Russian aggressor in our person - me and Alexei Reznikov," the minister said.

Kuleba stressed that they spoke at great length about Mariupol.

"I want you - everyone who is now defending Mariupol - to know that we, Ukraine, together with our partners are doing everything possible to help you. And the same admiration every Ukrainian has for President Biden, who is doing his part in defeating Russia," assured the Ukrainian foreign minister
