The 31st day of the war continues. In the Donetsk direction, the occupants are concentrating their efforts on holding their position and preparing for an offensive.
This was reported by the AFU General Staff in its operational information as of 12:00 p.m.
According to the military in FB, the enemy continues full-scale armed aggression against our state, the tasks of aggression remain unfulfilled.
"Preparation and redeployment of additional units of the Eastern Military District to the territory of Ukraine continues.
The enemy is not conducting offensive actions in the Volyn direction. At the same time, the withdrawal of units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus from their permanent deployment points to training ranges is underway.
In the Polessk direction, the enemy continues to shell populated areas, but does not conduct active offensive operations.
In the Seversk direction the enemy conducted no offensive actions. The enemy concentrated its main efforts on preserving the previously occupied borders, suffered losses and retreated in some directions.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy holds previously occupied lines, regroups and increases the grouping of troops to conduct offensive in some areas. It continues shelling the city of Kharkiv.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy concentrated its efforts on maintaining positions and preparing for an offensive, was unsuccessful in its attempts to advance, suffered losses and continued to attempt to storm the city of Mariupol, carrying out airstrikes and artillery fire on civilian and military infrastructure. It attempted to advance to occupy the central part of the city.
The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on capturing the settlements of Popasna, Rubizhne, and is preparing to attack Severodonetsk. Conducted assault actions in Avdeevka direction and tried to develop the offensive in the direction of Novobakhmutovka settlement, but to no avail.
Ukrainian Defense Forces units repulsed attempts to storm Novomayorske settlement and attacks in the direction of Krasnogorovka settlement. The enemy was unsuccessful, suffered heavy losses and retreated.
In the Tavrian direction, the enemy continues to take measures to strengthen control over the occupied territories. It also conducts filtering measures and attempts to establish a strict administrative and police regime.
The main efforts of the Defense Forces are aimed at preventing the enemy's offensive in the directions of Kriviy Rog, Zaporizhzhya and Mykolaiv Defense, maintaining certain sections of the sea coast; protecting and defending critical infrastructure; and liberating the temporarily occupied territories.
In the Yuzhno-Bugsk direction, the enemy carried out engineering protection of positions and committed artillery shelling of certain units of the AFU. It is taking measures to restore combat readiness and resupply.
It is likely that the occupiers will not give up their attempts to conduct offensive operations, sabotage, missile and air strikes on important military and civilian infrastructure.
