The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated Russian Lieutenant General Yakov Ryazantsev, commander of the 49th general army of the Southern Military District, at an airfield in Chornobaivka. This was stated at a briefing by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich.
"Within twenty-four hours, our troops destroyed the commander of the 49th general army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Yakov Vladimirovich Ryazantsev. And this happened, you will laugh a lot, at the Chernobayevka airfield. Likewise, we must understand the soldiers of the 7th Airborne Assault Division, because their forward command post is also located at the airfield of Chernobayevka. Now we understand the state of mind of servicemen who categorically refuse to go to fight in Ukraine," Arestovich said.
On the previous day, the AFU struck for the tenth time at the Chornobaivka airfield temporarily occupied by Russian troops in the Kherson region, which the enemy uses as a command post and a gathering place for planes and helicopters.
