The Verkhovna Rada passed a law on the abolition of the state final certification, the UPE, the unified entrance exam and the unified professional entrance test in 2022.
"The war has destroyed the educational process, which has not yet had time to fully recover from the covid pandemic. In such conditions the abolition of the GIA, the UPE, the unified entrance examination and the unified professional entrance test (taken when entering a master's program) will be a kind of encouragement for young people to study in Ukraine. It is important, because we need to think about the preservation of intellectual potential", - stressed in the message from the press service of the Verkhovna Rada in Telegram-channel.
It is noted that the final and entrance examinations are canceled only for the year 2022.
Thus, graduates of 2021/2022 academic year are exempt from the final certification. Admission to higher education institutions in 2022 will be conducted without the use of the results of external independent evaluation, the unified entrance exam and the unified professional entrance test.
