Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has spoken out about the possible payment by Russia for gas and oil in rubles.
"If any EU country would bow to Putin's humiliating demands to pay for oil and gas in rubles, it would be like helping Ukraine with one hand and helping Russians kill Ukrainians with the other. I urge the countries concerned to make a wise and responsible choice," Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
On March 23, Putin instructed to accept payments for Russian gas deliveries to Europe in rubles.
If any EU country bows to Putin’s humiliating demands to pay for oil and gas in rubles, it will be like helping Ukraine with one hand and helping Russians kill Ukrainians with the other. I urge relevant countries to make a wise and responsible choice.
